I must confess that I am not be a boxing referee, however, do you remember last year when the ring MC announced that all the three ringside judges had scored it 114-114 in the light heavyweight fight between Pastor Kyazze and Pastor Kayanja?

Since that announcement, the judge’s evaluations have become one of the most disturbing decisions in the whole history of boxing. Many of you who have followed Mike Tyson’s career thought that the judges got it wrong. In this issue as well as a separately available DVD, we ask you to judge for yourselves as we replay the fight round by round.

The DVD recapitulates with Kayanja completely out-boxing Kyazze in the first six rounds, (pg38), shattering his chin with upper cuts and occasional double jabs but the final six rounds saw a desperate Kyazze faring better by showing a more aggressive strategy. On page 66 Kyazze nails Kayanja with sharp right hooks and prays for a miraculous KO that he never got; however, he managed to build a solid advantage in points.

But before you come to any conclusions or blame the ringside judges, you need to understand where these ringside judges were sitting. They might have missed out on what you are about to read.
